and then there are friends.
I've got a bunch of friends, but only a few that i can really call FRIENDS.
I met up with one of my FRIENDS and it had been a while since we caught up. There's catching up.
and there's C A T C HING UP^^.
and i mean that this FRIEND of mine isn't afraid to C A T CH UP^.
and i love him so much because he isn't afraid to cut himself open and show you his guts, ya know?
Some of the people i love are afraid of this (as i'm sure many people in the world are) but i think i can say that i truly see through the people that put their guard up to the world.
Some people look at the world and think like this:
- everything sucks
- nothing is working out
- i hate him
- im jealous of her
- leave me alone!
- ughhh
- this is so goddamn boring.
- when will this end?...
- This life isn't good enough
and then there are people that look at the world and think like this:
- everything is great!
- everything is working out alright
- we have our differences but i appreciate him in my life
- i wish i could be her, she's wonderful
- i don't like being lonely, let's chat
- wow!
- this is unbearably amazing
- i hope this doesn't end!...
- This life is too good to be true
What kind of person do you want to be?
and no.
for all you Holden Caulfield's out there...
the second example aint no phoney.
My FRIEND has the mindset of the first example, but the soul of the second.
Through his eyes, the world was a miserable place - but there were moments where it became too significant that it blew him away. I was one of those moments for him and i'll never forget it because it was the first time that someone admitted to completely understanding what i was trying to communicate in silence.
He approached me after i performed my "Cheers Darlin" solo dance at school and he looked as if he was hit by a truck. He was baffled. Because in his eyes "he saw perfection".
But there's something my friend did wrong that made his life miserable for some years
.....
He was unsatisfied with his situation.
BUT...eventually he got better with a little help from "his only FRIEND".
On this day that we met up to C A T CH UP^^ he told me about "his only FRIEND" and how he had been through some really unfortunate and rough times - but something saved him. And he decided to get it tattooed across his chest.
My FRIEND wrote it down on a piece of paper and handed it to me. It said:
Happiness is the ability to see past imperfection.
It hasn't left my head ever since.
For as long as there are living things on this Earth
= everything remains perfect.
= everything remains perfect.
and with living>>> there are creations.
and with creations>>> there are 2 choices:
thenegative (death of our happiness)
the
& the positive (life of our happiness).
we paint our own pictures and hoist them up on our walls to look at everyday.
what kind of picture will you paint for yourself??
I am perfect.
But my picture isn't.
But here is the good news:
